The sky is full of Paragliders and lots of activity in our street !!!!
and everybody enjoy our famous Wilderness beach

Golden Gate and Drakensberg

NOT SWITZERLAND.
These photos was taken two weeks ago at the Brandwag Camp in Golden Gate. The snow was so thick that we could not travel to
Underberg where we stayed at the Fairways Resort. Although very cold it was a wonderful experience for us !!!

Wildlife in Area

Only one hour drive direction Oudtshoorn is the Crocodile and Cheetah Farm
You see.... white lion, tigers and these wonderful cheetahs. I took my two grandsons Armin and Bernard
for an outing and they enjoyed it so much !!

SAILS RESTAURANT

SAILS RESTAURANT One of our most beautiful Restaurants in the Wilderness. Stunning view over the
Beach and one can wave to the hang gliders when they pass by a few meters from where you are having your meal. The cocktails and tapas meals are so popular .... but just to enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the
this incredible beautiful scenery ! Where to find them? On the N2 at the Wilderness Beach Hotel and
only about 4 Km from Rinkink Beach House.

TREE'S

I am a member of the Wilderness Photo graphical Society and every month we have a certain theme.
This month we had to take photos of Tree's .
My first photo was taken in the farmers area just 5 km from
Wilderness on your way to the Seven Passes Road between George and Knysna and "The Big Tree" .
A Yellow Wood Tree that is more than 800 years old and in the original indigent Forrest.
Second photo was taken is just above Rinkink Beach House and it shows the Hill covered with lovely
Milkwood Trees and this one old tree ... beautiful artwork !!
Reminds me of the beautiful poem with the end phrase...
"But only God can make a tree !"

Honeymoon in Wilderness

What a romantic Beach we have ...only a few steps from Rinkink Beach House.
Take your glass of wine... sit on the bench (from where this photo was taken )and
enjoy sunset. Honeymoon Couples are most welcome @ Rinkink..... champagne, flowers
and fruit basket will await you !

SEWEWEEKSPOORT
Lies in the Swartbergmountains and this 60Km Mountain Pass is one of natures treasures , just off the R62 and between
Calitzdorp/Ladismith. In this remote Karoo area you find these two large dams ... the
Gamkapoort dam near Lainsburg (N1) and the Floriskraal dam. For the nature lovers and the adventurers there are many walking trails and also 4 x 4 trails. The scenery is a landscape photographer's dream around every corner.
